The beginning
Art came before the camera
I’m a Syrian nature and wildlife photographer based in Dubai since 2008. My love for art began early, around the age of twelve, when my mother taught me to paint, encouraged my creativity, and passed on her deep appreciation for nature and wildlife.
That early influence still shapes the way I see the world today. Before I raise the camera, I look for quiet rhythm, natural balance, and the emotional shape of a scene.
For me, every image is a story brought home from the field: a moment of light, silence, patience, and connection with the wild.

From print to image
A life shaped by visual craft
I graduated from Business College with a specialization in Marketing Management. My professional journey began in graphic design. I installed Photoshop in 1998, and by 2001 I started my first job as a graphic designer at an advertising company.
Seeing my artwork printed on a large billboard was a turning point. It sparked a lasting fascination with printing: machines, materials, inks, color, and everything that turns a digital idea into something physical.
After more than two decades in design and printing, I now run a small wallpaper printing company in Dubai. That hands-on experience with production quality influences the way I prepare images for fine-art prints and display.

I installed Photoshop for the first time, beginning a long relationship with image making and visual design.
Graphic design career
I started my first job as a graphic designer and became deeply interested in how digital work becomes printed reality.
Dubai
I moved to Dubai, where my creative and professional work continued to grow through design, printing, and photography.
Photography study
I studied photography at the New York Institute of Photography and explored many genres before finding my inner silence in nature.
Approach
What I look for in the wild
I am drawn to images that feel quiet but strong. Sometimes that means dramatic light and shadow. Sometimes it means a small subject surrounded by negative space. Sometimes it means waiting until the world simplifies itself into one essential gesture.
Light
Light is the emotional structure of the photograph. I follow it patiently and let it shape the image.
Silence
Many of my images rely on empty space. Silence gives the subject room to breathe.
Patience
Wildlife photography is waiting, observing, respecting distance, and allowing moments to happen naturally.
My printing background shapes how I prepare tone, contrast, color, texture, and presentation.
